THE UNDERGROUNDは2004年に香港のライブ会場の不足の結果、誕生しました。そして香港の未契約の才能がオリジナルの楽曲を披露するショーケースを提供しています。主催者であるクリスBはTime Magazineに“Chris B—the tattooed fairy godmother of the Hong Kong scene.（香港シーンの刺青を入れた優雅なゴッドマザー）”と称され、SONYサイバーショットの香港版CMに出演したこともあります。

THE UNDERGROUND was created in April 2004 as a result of the dearth of live music venues in Hong Kong, and to provide a showcase for the unsigned talent in Hong Kong to strut their original music.
